These western saddlebags are made from genuine leather. All straps are made from kangaroo lacing. Simulated stitching gives them an authentic look. Looks great with all western saddles. Straps help secure bags to saddle (for 1:6 scale). Flaps open for 1:6 scale (JW or Dragon) and do not open for 1:9 scale (Breyer).

These western saddlebags are styled after the ones used by Tom Selleck in his movie "Quigley Down Under." Each one is custom-made from 100% genuine leather. Features pockets that really open (except 1:9 scale), decorative studs on pocket flaps, crossed lacing at top of yoke, and straps that help secure bags to saddle (1:6 scale). They look great with all our western saddles!

These U.S. Cavalry Saddlebags are made for our Military saddles, although some customers interchange styles. They were originally manufactured around 1900 and were larger than the previous styles of the late 1800's. This style has often been referred to as the "Whitman Style." Features the "US" stamp on flaps that really open, and straps help secure bags to saddle. Each is made with as much detail as space allows. Not available in 1:9 Scale (Breyer).

The Military Saddlebags are made for our Military saddles, although some customers interchange styles (i.e., used the "Military Saddlebags" on western saddles). All saddlebags are made from genuine leather and feature flaps that really open, as well as straps to help secure bags to saddle. Each is made with as much detail as space allows.

This set was originally made as a "special custom design" and is now offered as part of our inventory. Although they are shown on a military saddle (in photo), they could easily also be used on your western saddle. Unlike our other saddlebags, they are unique because the wide slot in the "yoke" allows them to be fitted directly over the cantle (rear) and pommel (front) of your saddle. Bags really open, and the pommel bag even features an inside pocket! The "US" tab on the pommel bag pocket is optional. Not available in 1:9 scale (Breyer).
